Welcome to Surf Side Dental Studio!

Surf Side Dental Studio is a patient-centered practice. Our mission is to cultivate mutual trust and loyalty with our patients by providing them the most pleasant and personalized professional dental experience they will ever have.


We value our patient relationships, making it our priority to deliver gentle compassionate care that you deserve from a dentist in Hingham. Dr. Robert Geary

DMD

Dr. Robert Geary comes from the New England beach town of Hull, Massachusetts. During his undergraduate coursework, he participated in and continues to be involved with volunteer and outreach activities through the St. Rock Haiti Foundation. His undergraduate education was complemented with

research related to the ethics of genetic technologies as well as research in instrumental analysis as it pertains to the detection of environmental toxins.


Through his combined love of science, working with his hands on the weekends with his father, and making connections with people, the choice to pursue a career in dentistry was an easy one. 


After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Bridgewater State University with a BS in Chemistry and Minor in Philosophy, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. During his time at Tufts Dr. Geary spent a considerable amount of time focused on public

health initiatives and helping his peers through tutoring. He graduated Honus Civicus and also received the Presidential Award for Civic Life. 


Dr. Geary went on to complete a General Practice Residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. His experience in the residency provided him with exposure and advanced education in complex restorative dentistry, extractions, root canals, radiation therapy management, full mouth rehabilitation treatment

and planning, implant treatment planning, emergency dental and alveolar trauma management, and exposure to special needs patients and operating room procedures/dentistry. 


Dr. Geary is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, but particularly loves working with the special needs community. After completion of his program, Dr. Geary was commissioned as a Captain in the United States

Army Reserve as a Dental Officer. 


During his off time, Dr. Geary enjoys playing and performing music, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. Born and raised in New England, Dr. Geary is excited to be back on the south shore, which has always been his dream, and looks forward to living out his passion of helping others through his acquired knowledge.

Dr. Teresa Huynh

DMD

Dr. Teresa Huynh is from a seaside community similar to the south shore, having grown up in Pompano Beach, Florida. She completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of Florida, where she received a degree in psychology. It was during her undergraduate years that she fell in love with dentistry and gained the compassion for working with patients. 


After her undergraduate years, Dr. Huynh was accepted as a dental assistant in the Shands at the University of Florida Pediatric Clinic where she assisted in pediatric procedures with the residents and supervised dental student’s rotations through the clinic. 

 

Dr. Huynh went on to complete her Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University in Miami, Florida. During this time, she was lucky enough to go on a Medlife mission trip to Peru where she was able to provide screenings and assist the dentists providing treatment for the underserved population. 

 

She then received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at TUSDM, she excelled in clinical activities and academics, in addition to helping other students in the emergency clinic as a teaching assistant. Her time at TUSDM provided her with a honed skill set and the ability to provide her patients with the highest standard of care. 

 

Dr. Huynh is devoted to providing exceptional dental care and meeting her patient's individual needs and goals. She has recently moved to the South Shore area and enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling to new restaurants. In her free time, she likes to go hiking and camping in the New England area and particularly loves tracking down and seeing the waterfalls of New England. 


Dr. Huynh is looking forward to building genuine relationships with her patients and cultivating a sense of community. By taking the time to build a relationship based on trust, respect, and open communication, she ensures a patient is able to relax and know they are safe during their visit. She hopes to remain in the South Shore area for the duration of her care and looks forward to immersing herself in the local community.


Terri Petriella

Dental Hygienist

Terri Petriella is a Hull native with 38+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist and loves to help achieve healthy smiles. She has been married for 32 years to Louis, with whom she has two adult children, Sara and Louis Jr. She enjoys practicing fitness, yoga, entertaining and cooking. She loves the outdoors and is an active member of the Hull Garden Club.

Raji Loji

Dental Assistant

Raji has been a registered dental assistant for 5 years. He was born in Boston but was raised between Boston and Syria. Raji is excited to work with a new team of caring professionals to provide the best care possible. In his spare time, Raji plays the guitar and professionally races with his brothers. He also enjoys listening to new music, cooking, and watching movies. His favorite color is orange and you'll always see Raji wearing colorful scrubs to brighten up the office!

Suzanne Godinho


Dental Assistant

Suzanne Godinho has been a Registered Dental Assistant for the past 39 years. She was born and raised in Hull, MA and moved to Middleboro to raise her family, but has recently returned to her home town of Hull. She is proud to be a part of a caring and professional team that is dedicated to providing exceptional care. She loves to spend time with her two daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, household projects, crafting, hanging out at the beach, and getting together with her friends.

Krysten Dobay

Registered Dental Hygienist

Krysten was born and raised in South Boston and currently resides in Weymouth with her fiancé. She has been in the dental field since high school and decided to pursue dental hygiene after graduating with a bachelors degree in English. As a clinician, Krysten loves building relationships with her patients and using a gentle but thorough approach. She enjoys cooking, baking, health and fitness, and spending time with her family and 12 year old pug.

Christopher Geary


Office Assistant

Christopher Geary grew up in Hull, MA and loves to be outdoors and ski as often as possible. He loves being a part of Surfside Dental Studio and keeping the South Shore Smiling.

Beth Najjar

Office Assistant

Beth Najjar was born and raised in Brockton, MA and currently lives in Rockland. She has 20+ years in the dental and health care field. She is a mother of two beautiful daughters, Brianna and Bella, and loves to spend time with her handsome grandson, Ashton. She enjoys music, cooking, baking, going for walks, and can always be found spending time with her family. She is also a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan.
